Workshop objectives

The workshop aims to provide a suitable platform to discuss and exchange scientific views about the possibility of MAX and MXenes Phases insertion and application into the Engineering field.

It will also focus on the latest advances in understanding the chemistry- processing- microstructure relationships in MAX and MXenes phases.

This workshop will give a chance for young scientists, engineers and graduate students to know more about MAX and MXenes materials and will - eventually - encourage them to take an active role in this kind of events.

Workshop topics

Topics will be brought up by some recognized speakers, the themes will be on :

• Synthesis and fabrication of MAX and MXene phases.
• Oxidation and tribological behavior of MAX phases.
• MAX and MXene composites and their properties.
• Applications of MAX and MXene phases.
